Paneka Animaestudio started business on year 2000, with their first entertainment project "mundofred.com", a web site showing funny flash animated cartoons, specially made for the net. Latin America truly welcomed the site which was running a traffic average of 45,000 visits per day, at just one month from it's opening. Soon, a national TV network from Panama (Paneka AE's origin country) started showing one of Paneka's character once a week on the most rated show in the country "La Cascara". Forrito, the singing condom soon became Panama's favorite and the network broadcasted 60 episodes of the polemic character. NGOs and Health organizations also became interested in using Forrito for campaings and as sexual education material oriented to young audiences. The studio has also developed animated TV commercials spots for some major brands, and music videos for artists and musicians from Panama.

Paneka Animaestudio is working on 2 TV pilots for animated comedy series, and is also producing short films intended to theaters, which are participating in many film festivals around the globe. The studio is proud to announce the "Best Short Film" award obtained this june at the Accem Refugees Festival, in Madrid, Spain, with the short "Our little hut", that you can watch at our short films section.
